From the fact that the difference in the complexity between the agencies the diversity of fund sources as well as the requirement that we have a much higher percentage of the funds that come from federal, state, and local and public works does we welcome the Controllers Office evaluation we can find to reduce our off head well certainly love to do that i focused that on when i was at the public works to be as lean as we need to be theres a lot of complexity and hoops we need to jump through to spend the requests and spend and report on the various funding streams thats part of what might be driving the difference were thankful for the suggestion and welcome anything that the Controllers Office can provide in ways to improve. Throughout the duration of the 20132014 term, the Youth Commission has been working with the Youth Leadership program called project what. Which is comprised of youth with incarcerated parents either formally incarcerate or currently incarcerated parents. On mar 2014, the board of supervisors held a hearing of incarcerated youth and the various departments that provides services for youth with incarcerated parents.
