Nominations Needed For Humanitarian Awards

Nominations are being accepted to find the 33rd recipient of the New Brunswick Human Rights Award. The provincial commission created the award to single out the effort, achievement and leadership of people or organizations in promoting equality and human rights as volunteers. The Youth Human Rights Award places a focus on the ability of youth to engage in the promotion of values associated with human rights, including respect, appreciation for diversity, and non-discrimination. “There are so many dedicated individuals and organizations who deserve to be recognized for their contributions to an inclusive society that respects diversity. The New Brunswick Human Rights Awards honour those who stand out for promoting diversity and inclusion,” said commission chair Claire Roussel-Sullivan. “I encourage people to identify individuals and organizations who deserve to be recognized for their efforts and to submit their nomination.”
