The Diocese of Virac is appealing for financial help for one of its priests.

In a Facebook post, the diocese identified the priest as Fr. Phillip Henry Morales who is currently admitted in a hospital in Quezon City.

SANDAKAN: A reunion of YouthPrepLink (YPL) graduates was held virtually via ZOOM on Nov 28. A total of 90 graduates who were involved in YPL from 2011 to 2019 participated in this meeting.
This was the third YPL meeting. The theme for the meeting was Memories bring back, Memories bring back You.
The programme began with a brief orientation on the use of ZOOM applications by the host.
Then they proceeded with a reading and reflection of the Gospel followed by an opening prayer by the Liturgy Team. The YPL attendees: Sr Jossie Sili, rgs, Jell Joseph, Evelyn Doikin, Sharon Tan, Wilfred Frederick (Boy) and Seminarian Andy Borine Tingadon gave short speech videos.

A convoy of vans and MPVs slowly making its way through the city streets on a Saturday morning is nothing to get excited about. But for the people inside the vehicles, there is a hint of excitement; a sense of mission and purpose. For packed into each car is a collection of foodstuffs – sacks of rice, bags of canned food, biscuits and instant noodles, long beans, potatoes, carrots and cabbages wedged in between bottles of cooking oil and packets of sugar, salt and
ikan bilis. Another car is filled with bales of blankets and boxes of assorted goods including sealed packs of face masks. Yet another car carries a precious cargo of fresh chicken eggs, trays and trays of them. At the receiving end of these goodies are another group of people, waiting in anticipation, assured of not going to bed hungry that night and indeed for the next two weeks, hopefully.
