Young Soles expands US operations
Kid’s footwear brand Young Soles is expanding its US operations.
The British brand has recently engaged a warehouse in St Louis, implemented a fully integrated electronic data interchange system, and created a dedicated US ecommerce website, ready for launch in February.
It is also in talks with new US retailers, including Bloomingdales. Young Soles already sells to 38 US independent retailers, such as luxury kidswear retailer Shan and Toad.
The US expansion has also included the appointment of fashion sales consultant Diane Hudson as national sales manager for Young Soles.
Young Soles CEO and president Stuart Anderson said: “Since our inception seven years ago we have sold to retailers in the US, but it is never been a market that we have had the time or resource to fully commit to. Now as a part of our continuing global growth strategy we have laid the foundations to give the US market the attention it needs to make Young Soles a success.�
