Recently, VFW Auxiliary 8189 presented certificates of patriotism to members of the Nature Coast Young Marines.
The awards were presented to show appreciation to the Young Marines for their assistance during a recent American flag retirement ceremony where over 1,600 flags were retired.

The Young Marines are open to those age 8 through the completion of high school. The only membership requirement is that the youth be in good standing at school.
