A Young County man was indicted in May on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon stemming from a disturbance at a residence on FM 1769 in March. Andrew James Graves, 20, was arrested in March, booked in the Young County Jail and released in April on the charge. In a recently made public document, the indictment states Graves intentionally and knowingly threatened his father, Aaron Graves, with bodily injury by cutting his leg with an electric reciprocating saw and used or exhibited the weapon during the assault.

An Olney man was arrested last weekend after a 13-day search following an altercation on the 400 block of West Payne Street. Felisiano (Felix) Villalpando, 39, was booked Saturday, April 29 into the Young County Jail on charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, a first-degree felony; and aggravated assault to child/elderly/disabled, a third-degree felony.
