CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, May 8 (PIA) Amid challenges brought about by coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 pandemic and African Swine Fever (ASF), the Department of Agriculture (DA)-10 has come up with strategies in ensuring that the agri-fishery sector will get optimum support in attaining food security.
“The focus of the present administration emphasizing on the whole-of-government approach aims to achieve the vision of a food-secure and resilient Philippines with prosperous farmers and fisherfolk,” DA-10 Regional Director Carlene Collado said during the CORDS-X Podcast with Communications Sec. Martin Andanar, May 8.
In celebration of the Farmers’ and Fisherfolk Month, DA-10 held the groundbreaking ceremony of the poultry house in Dalwangan, Malaybalay City (May 3) and the Solar-Powered Irrigation System in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon (May 4).
