staying optimistic, that everything is looking good, that she is able to have motion on both sides of her body, that she is responding to simple commands, and we are really feeling that she is a fighter, certainly she fought through many campaigns that were very difficult, she is going to fight through this. we really need her, since she is one of the shining lights in our country who has really taken our dialogue to a much more civil level in many cases, and she can bring people together. in tucson i have to emphasize that no matter what party people belong to people are reacting with a spirit of love and hope and reconciliation. and my own christian faith gives me great hope that we can come together as a community and move forward past this. in my church just yesterday the liturgy was changed to have a healing service on behalf of the victims and on behalf of everyone in the church praying
