The extensive report examined the companies’ activities in various countries, in addition to assessing their contribution to employment and surveying their executives’ expectations. The report was conducted by the EIT Hub Israel, ISERD, and the Israeli company CQ Global, a trusted international recruiting company. The data collection took place for several months by a team of analysts from the study’s editors and was derived from data sources such as SNC, IVC, and other online information sources. The report was presented during an event honoring the 25th anniversary of the establishment of business relations between the EU and Israel.

A new map revealed by EIT Hub Israel, ISERD, and CQ Global has revealed that there are 912 Israeli companies in the European Union, responsible for employing 24,223 people. The data was collected over several months by a team of editors, analysts, and data sources from Start-up Nation Central and other online sources. 912 Israeli startups in EU employ 24,223 local workers, data shows

Map of startups in Europe (EIT Hub & CQ Global) In Germany, for example, 240 Israeli startups provide employment to 3,135 Germans; in France there are 183 companies with 1,985 employees. These two countries and the UK employ 55% of all Israeli startup workers in Europe, the data showed. Forty-nine percent of all startups operating in the EU conduct sales and marketing activities locally and 15% have research and development operations, the data showed. The authors of the study also conducted in-depth conversations with startups operating in Europe, which showed that 37% of them anticipate growth in the coming year. Sixteen percent of the startups received EU assistance in setting up and expanding operations. The major reasons they set up activities in Europe included the attractive market for their products, proximity to customers, legislation, support programs, and EU partners.

CTech – A new initiative to bring Israeli high-tech workers who are employed abroad to return to Israel will kick off next Wednesday on Mar. 24 at a virtual Zoom meeting event. Israeli high-tech workers who have returned to the country will discuss new work opportunities, and present a variety of positions at active R&D centers in Israel. The Back2Tech project was initiated and funded by the Israel Innovation Authority and is designed to answer the overwhelming shortage of high-tech workers, and facilitate an easier return for them and their families as well as promising them a secured position at a trusted company. During the course of the meeting, those who have returned will share their stories and the processes they underwent.
