Nakahara bested previously unbeaten
Ruslan Emilbek Uulu in 90 seconds of work before Tang Kai one-upped him by thwarting
Ryogo Takahashi in their meeting. Tang moved his win streak up to seven and remains unbeaten under the ONE banner.
Perhaps the finish of the night came in the opening contest. Mark “Tyson” Fairtex Abelardo used his powerful right elbow to repeatedly rock Emilio Urrutia in the first round. Although the American survived to the end of the round, he would not exit the second frame.
As Urrutia got his legs back under him, Abelardo saw his shots coming. As Urrutia tried to land a strike to change the bout, “Tyson” stepped-in with a right elbow that crushed his opponent.

Filipino-Kiwi fighter Mark Abelardo is looking to barge into the winning column of ONE Championship against American foe Emilio Urrutia on Friday, March 5.
Abelardo, who has lost three of his last four fights since May 2019, vowed to come back stronger with refined striking in the hopes of adding a glimmer of hope to his dismal showing in the bantamweight division recently.
The 29-year-old Abelardo, who was born and raised in New Zealand to Filipino parents, said he is feeling more confident and ready both physically and mentally ahead of ONE: Fists of Fury II at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
