Scientists have linked events mentioned in the Bible to archaeological findings unearthed in the city of David - the historic site that formed the original Jerusalem.
Professor Yosef Garfinkel of the Institute of Archaeology at Hebrew University claims the Bible's King David ruled over a large kingdom near Jerusalem.
While the cities were discovered separately, the archaeologist claims he is the first to connect the dots - determining they are an organized urban network built during the reign of King David.
