Image Credit: Email Early on Sunday Morning, a Delmar, Delaware police officer went to go respond to a 911 call about a fight in the Yorkshire Estates Community. Soon after, another 911 call reported that the officer was unresponsive and on the verge of death. The brutal attack comes in the wake of radical anti-police rhetoric and leftist Black Lives Matter violence, especially in the wake of the Derek Chauvin verdict last week. Allegedly, one of the occupants of a house in the community, a man named Randon D. Wilkerson, was reported to be assaulting others in the home, as well as assaulting several men and women in neighboring homes. When the officer, Corporal Keith Heacook, went to respond to the calls, he got involved in a physical altercation and was left in dire need of emergency medical care.
