Outlets point to a severe undercount of storm deaths. Puerto ricos government said there were 64 deaths from the hurricane in the aftermath. But the New York Times and the center for investigator reporting, reported that the number was likely more than a thousand. Puerto ricos governor says there is no intent to hide the number of deaths. Accountability broke down after the hurricane. An update to a story from over the weekend. Prince georges county is investigating conditions at a Domestic Violence safe house after some of the women living there told us the conditions were not safe. The women told us some of the rooms have not heat. Some areas have mold. The county department of Family Services said it visited that safe house and said any substandard conditions are unacceptable.
