Three star pitchers from Section II are among the 17 individuals who have been selected by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports for induction into the New York State High School Softball Hall of Fame.
The Section II cast includes former Mechanicville ace Abby Arceneaux, who will be joining both her sister Anna and father Don in the state softball hall of fame, as well as Saratoga Springs graduate Robyn West and South Glens Falls product Marissa Carpenter.
The induction ceremony for the Class of 2022 will take place at the Mudville softball complex in Herkimer at a date still to be determined.
