The shooting was not far from the james m. Curenen junior high. We turn to the beating of a 35yearold man who was dressed as a woman. His head was bashed in to a concrete curb multiple times in what Police Believe may be a hate crime. It happened on 93rd street in jackson heights. Shirleen allicot is live in queens with that story. A brutal attack. It happened here in front of this multifamily home. If you take a look to my left, you can still see the crime scene tape. As far as what we know, it happened around 4 a. M. Sunday morning. Police say a man who was dressed as a woman was severely beaten here. The victims head as you mentioned slammed on the concrete curb. We dont know the motive for the attack but Police Believe it could be a hate crime. They say the victim was a guatemalan immigrant who dresses as a woman and has a female first name. They dont have any suspects at this time and theyre hoping anyone who saw something will give them a call. As far as that victim, all we know
