Putnam County Housing Corp receives Grant to assist County homeowners in making repairs Written by Putnam County Housing Corporation (PCHC)
The Putnam County Housing Corporation (PCHC) has received a $200,000 grant from the New York State Affordable Housing Corporation (NYSAHC) to assist homeowners (owner-occupied) throughout the county in making repairs. These funds will be used to provide grants of up to $40,000 to income-eligible homeowners to make repairs such as structural, safety and code upgrades, roofs, windows, electrical, plumbing and heating systems.
A homeowner s household income must not exceed the income guidelines: $81,871 (one person); $93,598 (two people); $105,326 (three people); $116,943 (four people); $126,369 (five people); $135,685 (six people); $145,110(seven people) and $154,426(eight people).
