Emergency in this covid19 pandemic. This is a serious situation and we are all concerned about the health and safety of our fellow americans and citizen soldiers and airmen. Thus far members of the national , six guard have tested positive for covid19. We have forced Health Protection measures in place and we will keep our National Guard members informed as the situation develops. We all play an important part in ensuring the health and safety of communities and this is a responsibility we take their take seriously. We are here to support each other and communities. I want to talk about what the National Guard is doing in response to covid19. First of our, its an historic event unlike any weve faced in recent years. When theres a hurricane, you can see it on a map and you have a sense on how hard itll hit. Its like we have 54 separate hurricanes in every state and territory. Some are category 5, summer some are category threes, and some are category ones. We dont no one this was going
In santa clara, makeshift hospitals are set up for coronavirus patients. Its one of the measures they are taking to prepare for a surge in cases. A new wave of closures for many bay area parks and beaches to prevent a repeat of last weekends crowds with insufficient social distancing. A lifeline for california renters with a statewide eviction ban and why some worry that is only a bandaid. Its just about 6 00 a. M. On the saturday, march 28. Another weekend morning and that means ive got rain to look at on my doppler radar. There is a pattern. Scattered but occasionally heavy and that is a way to describe what it will be for just about anybody who is out early on this saturday morning. On hidef doppler, there is light rain and heavy rain like devon was talking about, you will have not a lot of yellow but there are some in the east bay and some approaching the peninsula and thats what the radar looks like, more impressive than the rain that is out there and fairly light for most of us.
