How to return your mail ballot
If you opted to vote with a mail-ballot in the primary, it must be in the hands of the local elections office by 8 p.m. on May 18. Otherwise, it will not count.
Postmarks do not count.
It is too late to mail the ballot at this point. Some counties offer drop boxes, or the ballots can be taken to the local elections office.
County election offices have drop boxes available:
Adams County: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday inside the courthouse, 117 Baltimore St. in Gettysburg.
Franklin County: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the elections office, 272 N. Second St., Chambersburg.
