DMX receives an honorary mural in his Yonkers hometown

DMX. According to the City of Yonkers on Twitter, the mural was commissioned by the Yonkers Art coalition to restore an existing mural after local fans specifically asked for a DMX memorial. It was designed and completed by New York artist  Floyd  Ruff Ryders CEO  Darrin Dee Dean and X’s fiancée,  Desiree Lindstrom, were both in attendance at the mural’s unveiling near the Calcagno Homes housing complex on South Street, where X once lived. Lindstrom is also the mother of X’s five-year-old son,  Exodus.  “Extended blessings to the family of @DMX. Got Exodus and Dez with us,” Dean wrote on Instagram.

Yonkers Jail Owner Daniel Wolf Passes Away Written by Ardina Seward Famous art dealer, Daniel Wolf, has passed away at his home in Colorado. Wolf was married to the equally famous architect, Maya Lin.  The Tribeca power couple is well known world wide for their prominent positions in photography and design.  Wolf purchased a former Yonkers jail in 2013, and rehabbed it to house his art collection and utilize as a public event space for the local community. Shortly afterwards, he decided not to fulfill that promise and kept the facility private for his expansive collection. When asked in an interview with Eye of Photography Magazine about the jail, Wolf was quoted:
