新北市永和區某社區接連發生住戶感染達5人，市府11日決定全棟大樓住戶236人進行1人1室居家隔離，無法1人1室的有70人由市府協助住進防疫旅館，新北市衛生局陳潤秋說，市府在第3個確診者因為感染原因不明就啟動比去年的實兵演練進行社區防疫程序，包括擴大清消及採檢，確保疫情控制。陳潤秋被媒體問到高雄市先前發生社區感染時，市長陳其邁果斷採取全棟居家隔離做法，相較於高雄，新北市這次是否慢半拍？陳潤秋表示，該社區的第1、2例發生，均有明確感染源，但第3例發生無明確感染源，因此市府立即按照去年的實兵演練計畫，採取大樓隔離措施，並且在擴大社區採檢時找到第4、5例確診個案，有效控制疫情。
