Douglas high school this afternoon. Students say they heard multiple gunshots. They rushed to hide in classrooms and they tried to reach their parents through their cell phones but some of them were scared to talk out of fear that their voices would attract the shooter. One student says he heard the gunman pull that fire alarm and yell for everyone to come out of the rooms in an attempt to fill the halls with people. When that school went on lockdown, s. W. A. T. Team rushed in. Students flooded out consoling each other on the street. It was multiple gunshots, five at a time, fully automatic, very frightening. We thought it was a drill. But apparently it was a active shooter. The hallway saw big pile of blood smeared like as if they were dragged away and i saw two girls probably dead in the hallway. A good thing the door is locked. The shooter shot through the door. I was behind the cabinet and the bullet passed my ear, got a girl next to me. We couldnt help anybody. 911 wasnt working

And crews are struggling to gain ground on a fire that is raging out of control and has been for hours sending people running for safety tonight. Good evening, everyone. It is spreading to solano and yolo counties. Right now the fire burned more than 4,000 acres and it is still growing. With 5 containment it is out of control. There are 150 structures that are threatened and threatening mandatory evacuations. Residents have been told to get out. Campers at canyon creek have also been evacuated.
