As the popular saying goes, “Diamonds are a woman’s best friend.” But to turn that friendship into a successful business, it takes a lot of courage. Ynna Asistio, daughter of veteran actress Nadia Montenegro, is making a name for herself not only as a young star but as a businesswoman making a mark in the jewelry industry.
A spark to do it better
There are risks to starting an online jewelry business. But what others consider risky, Ynna sees as an opportunity to do better. Her interest in the jewelry industry started when she was young, constantly seeing her mom dress up for various roles in the shows and movies she was cast in. At that early age, she was already dazzled by the glimmer of jewelry, particularly diamonds.

Ysa Asistio, eldest sister of actress Ynna Asistio, has vouched for Radiant Lux Jewelry when it comes to the secrecy of their clients.
“Just want to share this. @radiant.lux.jewelry my sister works for radiant and yes it’s in their protocol not to share anything to other people and keep proposals secret,” she wrote on Instagram.
According to Ysa, even she, herself, experienced how the jewel shop remained true to their service that Ynna had to hide it for a year from her.

Many are puzzled with Ynna Asistio’s most recent post, which talks about so many things including the “truth” and the price of an Amorsolo painting, among others.
It read in part: “You forced it out on her. You know that truth. You both know the truth. Speak the truth (all in capital letters).”
Note the daughter of actress Nadia Montenegro and the late former Caloocan City Mayor Macario “Boy” Asistio is among those behind Radiant Lux Jewelry.
The company was involved in controversy with Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano making public that their engagement ring came courtesy of Manila Diamond Studio but with Jessy’s input.
