Ethiopian and Russian agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of intelligence and security as well as other multifaceted areas. This was disclosed during the meeting held today between Director of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) of Ethiopia, Temesgen Tiruneh and Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia Yevgeny Terekhin. The two officials have exchanged views on various bilateral issues, according to a press release sent to ENA by the National Intelligence and Security Service. NISS Director said the discussion focused on ways how the two countries could cooperate with a view to help Ethiopia curb the challenges that it has been facing currently.
