WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A man allegedly walked into a Brooklyn synagogue with a knife that looked like a gun Thursday morning, according to sources. It happened at the Congregation Yetev Lev D’Satmar at 152 Rodney St. in Williamsburg around 9:20 a.m., sources said. The person was taken into police custody, according to sources.
Police continue to investigate the incident although currently no information has been released to the public as to the perpetrators or their intentions.
