而股市楼市是资金市，资金面越大，资产价格越容易上涨。M2规模作为总货币量可以视为股市楼市广义层面的资金面。所以，当M2增速下降的时候，对股市楼市是利空；当M2增速上升的时候，对股市楼市是利好。
通过下图可以发现，2020年3月到2021年2月，A股有一波上涨。在这个时期里，广义货币M2增速从2020年2月8.80%增长到2021年2月的10.10%，从个位数变成两位数。而2021年2月份以后，M2增速由两位数变成个位数，最后A股迎来一波调整。
然而现如今，广义货币M2也出现了见底的迹象。2021年4月份广义货币增速降到8.1%的低位后开始有所回升，5月份增长8.3%，6月份增长8.6%。
与此同时，反映货币情况的另一重要指标（社融存量）也印证了这一点，通过下表数据显示，社融存量增速从今年开始持续下降，然而到了6月份出现止跌的迹象。
