Oman unveils plans to develop $155m tourism project
MUSCAT, 19 days ago Oman s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism have signed an agreement with Qurm Stone Development for developing a tourism project in Muscat at an investment of RO60 million ($155 million). To be set up over a 500,000-sq-m area in Muscat governorate, the Yenkit Hills tourism project is being implemented in three phases, reported Oman Observer. Phase One will see the development of a five-star resort with 90 rooms and suites complete with all facilities. Phase Two involves construction of 122 upscale residential/tourist units as well as a panoramic commercial complex to serve the area and the project.

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has signed an agreement worth more than OMR60 million for the Yenkit Hills tourism project. It will be completed in three phases and construction work is expected to begin in 2022.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Qurm Stone Development Company have signed an agreement to establish the Yenkit Hills tourism project, which will be built in the Yenkit area of the Governorate of Muscat.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Heritage and Tourism Salim bin Mohammed bin Said Al-Mahrouqi and His Highness Dr. Al Khattab bin Ghaleb Al Said, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors from the Qurm Stone Development Company in the presence of a number of officials from the ministry and Qurm Stone Development Company.
