Reggae and dancehall lovers were treated to a second day of solid performances as another set of the genres’ top acts delivered for an online audience Saturday at Global Reggae Night 2 to commemorate Reggae Month.
Tessanne Chin, Alborosie, Marcia Griffiths, Tarrus Riley and I-Octane kept the fire burning throughout the one-and-a-half-hour event, which built on Friday’s first night that had Omi, Leroy Sibbles, Koffee and Capleton.
The performances were recorded live at the Creative Production and Training Centre (CPTC) with media personality Yendi Philips hosting.
Tessanne opened with ‘Be The One’ before an inspiring cover version of reggae legend Bob Marley s Redemption Song’ and closed with ‘Hideaway’.
