It seems the last few years the world has been on fire. The volcano in Yellowstone has more magma than we thought. If it blows, the world will be on fire for real.

Social media is rife with unsubstantiated claims and conspiracies about the supervolcano - claims the USGS has been diligently debunking.
One person tweeted: How am I supposed to get ready for work tomorrow knowing full well that Yellowstone is overdue for a massive explosion and the magnetic poles will flip someday?
Another person said: Keep in mind the worlds largest volcano is about overdue. Every 600,000 years, Yellowstone goes off. It could seriously impact all life on Earth. Also, the magnetic poles have started to flip.
And a third person said: Uhhh Yellowstone is most definitely overdue to erupt, by over 60,000 years.
The Yellowstone caldera was formed after three large erupts over the last three million years.
These were the Huckleberry Ridge eruption 2.1 million years ago, the Mesa Falls eruption 1.3 million years ago and the Lava Creek eruption approximately 630,000 years ago.
The volcano is located below Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, US, and the area is constantly monitored by the United States Geological Survey for signs that another major event could occur.
Mr Oppenheimer went into great detail about the devastating impact supereruptions have and why this would prove disastrous for the US if the supervolcano erupted.
Mr Oppenheimer said: A supereruption is defined very roughly as an event that ejects hundreds or thousands of cubic kilometres of magma.
Mr Oppenheimer said: Well, there are a lot of potential scenarios for a future eruption at the Yellowstone volcano. The one that people get excited about and keen on is the chance of a colossal eruption, what we might call a super eruption but that is a very rare event. The probability of that is exceedingly low probably less than 1 in a million per year. But what is more likely are smaller events as there are a whole range of things volcanos can do.
