Yellowstone National Park enlisted Indigenous artists and scholars to celebrate the park’s 150th anniversary. Some say it's the start of a journey of healing from some of the park's dark history.
As Yellowstone National Park turns 150 years old, a group of Indigenous artists and scholars is bringing a teepee village and other public art to the park to highlight its Native American history.
Yellowstone Revealed was planned for and by Indigenous people. The week will include guided tours of Indigenously significant areas in the park as well as art and live musical performances. Yellowstone National Park is helping host the event for its 150th anniversary.
