now stretching from the great laking all the way down into oak. you see the yellow box that popped up here, that s a new severe thunderstorm watch forming at the end of the loop. that goes until 7:00 a.m., central time. unfortunately, it does include moore, oklahoma. the storms that fired off to the south of moore, look to stay there. we could get rain backing in. overall the threat will shift south and east of moore here today. look farther off to the north. widespread thunderstorms. when you see storms arch like this, the batch of storms arches out as it pushes out of st. louis, that s a good indication there are strong winds packed in these storms. 60 to 70 miles per hour likely. when you get the storms with the gusty winds, you can spin up a weak tornado. not seeing the same threat tornadowise we saw monday afternoon. still spin that up here. conditions favorable for strong tornadoes once again tuesday afternoon. and same place. watching dry air pushing out of the deserts. cool air
