Ant van Dorsten installed a large sculpture at Back Beach on Tuesday, one that will feature in this season s TSB Festival of Lights.
One of the feature sculptures in this season s TSB festival of Lights took a detour for a pop-up installation at New Plymouth s Back Beach. The patterned geometric shape is one part of Hybycozo, a four-piece installation designed by Yelena Filipchuk of Russia and Serge Beaulieu of Canada. Light installer Ant van Dorsten said he wanted to build the sculpture on Back Beach before it moved to Pukekura Park for the New Plymouth District Council-run festival.
