Especially communities of color, with high latino populations. Folks didnt want to be counted. Took large invests in folks not concerned what the census could do for them, movement building, doortodoor contact, education to get people to fill that out so it could do two things. One it could build a case Voting Rights happening in different parts of the state, specifically in Yakima Valley and everett, north of seattle. It also brought more people facetoface with folks already invested in the political outcomes of their communities. They could meet people who could intro for them, that meant better sidewalks and street lights, right . Bringing macro down to the micro so people could see this affects everyday life. This affects my commute, my Childrens School and wages and census is first part of that as politicos, we look at census thing that doesnt impact us as much but is very important. We need to get out of the mind set to make sure our communities are counted. Second thing many of
Families trust and confidence. So now weve seen maybe not a change but certainly a significant orientation and how we are doing. This is all part of a change in policy over the last few years since 9 11. We had first and intensification of policy and the militarization to move to the acceptance of the complicated conflict. It had too much effect on the hostage policy accept the stuff i just talked about and thats been on a tactical level. However, many of the practitioners is taken on the transnational character as another talked about. Exacerbating the transnational Political Development in the insurgent activities with other types of transnational time for weapons of mass distraction and on and on. Criminal organizations as well as terrorist groups have gone global preventing a new challenge to government. Some of whom are overmatched and outgunned. The result is a global transnational exodus of political and criminal threats. The evolution of insurgency movements and terrorist tacti
