Authorities say 57yearold Robert Lewis Dear shot twelve people killing three of them before a fivehour standoff ended with his surrender to police. Dear is scheduled to make his First Court Appearance monday. The Colorado Springs Police Department has yet to detail what kind of gun was used, whether the gunman had any connection to the Womens Health facility, or his motive. Planned parenthood

So we have a huge they have a great deal of trouble managing services for their parents, finding services for the parents, deciding about services for the parents and themselves. The largest share of the demographic is not eligible for anything. We need much Better Services between ccrcs and medicaid. There is a Huge Population that has a great deal of trouble. I want to encourage us to use the private sector or use encouragement to the private sector to better use private individual funds which is all we have for most people to improve Services Available to most agencies. Really to work at making it possible for people with just some money to age in place easily and well. Fire ripped through a Century Old Church just minutes after mass ends. Heart broken parishioners watched the building burn. And right now firefighters are still dousing the rubble to make sure the fire doesnt flair up. Good evening. The fire at Holy Cross Parish in san jose started at 2 00 this afternoon. Abc7 News Reporter lilian kim is there live with the story. Lilian . Reporter katie, this is as close as we are allowed to get. The fire captain says these walls could collapse at anytime. A sad day for those who have been going to this church for decades. It took only minutes for a centurys old church to be a raging inferno. He just locked the doors. 1 00 mass had ended. In five minutes you could see the smoke and then went inside and could see the fire. It didnt take long before they realized there was nothing they could do. Well, the good news is that the president and the speaker of the house are now in facetoface discussions. Its always better to be talking than not. The other development is that increasingly Congressional Republicans recognize that the position that they had staked out is unsustainable. One of the arguments we hear from some democrats is that the fiscal cliff isnt really a cliff, its more like a slope and you could gradually go down it and the withholding from tax wouldnt kick in for a while and the spending cuts wouldnt hurt the economy for a while. Do you think it is good idea to go over the deliver and it is more of a slope.
