Ex-DUCSU social welfare secretary Akhter remanded BSS 14th April, 2021 09:35:18 Akhter Hossain, the former social welfare secretary of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) has been placed on two-day remand in a case filed over snatching away an accused from police custody. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid passed the order on Wednesday after police produced him before the court, seeking seven-day remand. Earlier on Tuesday night, police arrested Akhter from Shahbagh Police Station area in the case.
