Education minister Stephen Lecce said Tuesday he is disappointed by YCDSB’s vote not to fly the flag at its head office in Aurora, but stopped short of ordering the board to do so.
The YCDSB voted not to fly the flag at a meeting on Monday night. In recent months, controversy over raising the Pride flag has swelled at board meetings.
