Asamoah Gyan to face Journalist in court over 1 Million suit on Friday, May 14, 2021

Renowned entertainment journalist and multi-award-winning Hollywood screenwriter, Anthony Osarfo, has sued footballer Asamoah Gyan and his manager, Samuel Anim Addo, for malicious prosecution.
Background Of The Case
In June 2015, Daily Guide reported that one Sarah Kwabla is threatening to leak a s x video involving herself and Asamoah Gyan. However, the said Sarah’s side of the story was not captured in the report.
Anthony Osarfo did a follow-up by getting in touch with Sarah and scooped fresh angles to the story. It came to light that Sarah did not threaten Gyan with any s x video as Daily Guide reported, rather, she accused Gyan of raping and sodomising her.
Court grants businessman bail over car fraud
An Accra Circuit Court on Thursday granted a GHC75,000.00 bail with two sureties to be justified to a businessman over an alleged car fraud.
Habib Iddrisu, 35 was ordered by the court to report to the police every fortnight and also deposit his passport with the Court’s Registry.
Iddrisu pleaded not guilty to fraudulently breaching the trust of Yassin Mahmud Dawuda, the complainant. He is to make his next appearance on January 12, 2021.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector William K. Boateng told the Court presided over by Mrs Afia Owusua Appiah that Dawuda is a Ghanaian based in the USA, whilst Iddrisu resides at Nima in Accra.
