As the Yarrawonga Chronicle was going to print a very “humbled and honoured” Mulwala resident Vivian Spilva received the top honours for Federation Council receiving the Citizen of the Year Award at council’s Australia Day celebrations in Urana on Tuesday.
Kathryn Bruce received the Local Achiever Award for Savernake and Tunzafun Amusement Park volunteer George Jenkins received the Local Achiever Award for Mulwala.
