Council receives funding for key projects
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) has been successful in receiving $9.11 million as part of the State Government’s 2021-24 South East Queensland Community Stimulus Program (SEQCSP).
TRC Mayor Paul Antonio welcomed the news, reinforcing how important it is for local governments to receive funding from higher levels of government.
“This is great news which will help us complete key projects for the Toowoomba Region,” the Mayor said.
“There’s no doubt we’re reliant on the funds we receive from both the State and Federal Governments. To receive a significant amount of funding like this, will go a long way to helping us build essential infrastructure for our community.”
