PianoDays @CLE: Duo Amal Duo Amal is an acclaimed Israeli-Palestinian piano Duo of Yaron Kohlberg, President of Piano Cleveland, and Bishara Haroni, who “bear testament to the capacity of music to transcend conflicts that have proved intractable,” (The Sydney Morning Herald). The duo’s name, Amal, means hope in Arabic and reflects their belief that music can overcome different backgrounds and cultural boundaries.
"We've decided to stop announcing full seasons like many traditional orchestras," says Jason Miller, executive director of the Bentonville-based Arkansas Philharmonic.
