有数据统计显示，6月份，烟台海关进、出口整体通关时间分别为29．75小时和2．25小时，较2017年基准值分别压缩50．2％和76．04％，压缩比远高于关区平均水平，提前完成国务院下达的2021年底整体通关时间较2017年压缩50％的工作目标。通关时间提速的背后，是一连串提升跨境贸易便利化水平的“实政”出台：今年以来，烟台海关在尊重市场需求和企业意愿的基础上，全面推广提前申报、两步申报、两段准入等改革，同时持续优化大宗资源性商品检验流程，开辟‘绿色通道’，在对铁矿实施“先放后检”优惠措施的同时，叠加“优先查验”及24小时预约通关优惠政策，实现铁矿等符合政策的大宗资源性商品“先放后检”“随到随验”“即卸即验”，极大提高了通关效率，促进了口岸繁荣。 7月13日，40万吨级散货船“上海矿业”轮靠泊烟台港码头。�
