Im bill ritter. Cops right now questioning witnesses. This after the 16yearolds body was found in the claremont section of the bronx. Aj ross on the scene for us. Its a tragic story, just 16 years old when her entire life ahead of her. Police have been here off this apartment off east 171st for several hours, trying to piece together just how this deadly shooting occurred. At this hour theyre still collecting evidence and interviewing several eyewitnesss who were inside the home with the victim. Reporter a desperate 911 call brought police to the first floor of east 171st and College Avenue after 6 00 this evening. When detectives arrived they found a 16yearold girl dead inside, shot in the face. Police quickly secured the scene, limiting access to the building as they collected evidence and talked with witnesses. A young man was escorted from the building in handcuffs along with a woman who was placed in the back of a detectives car. Investigators say there were several people inside
