The first win and the first home run will have to wait for another day.
But in the Worcester Red Sox’s historic first game since Boston’s top affiliate moved from Pawtucket, there were plenty of notable firsts in Tuesday’s loss to the Buffalo Bison at Trenton Thunder Ballpark in New Jersey:
First pitch: Jarren Duran took a healthy cut at a Nate Pearson’s pitch and fouled it out of play at 7:03 p.m.
