Delhi is set to hold daily Yamuna aarti at Vasudev Ghat, inspired by the Ganga aarti in Varanasi. The ghat, developed by Delhi Development Authority, is nearing completion and includes a pedestrian walkway, bathing place, and Charbagh style landscaping. The project is part of the restoration of the Yamuna floodplain and covers a stretch of 1.5km. The ghat is expected to be ready for aarti within a few weeks.
