The sky over Steamboat Steamboat was once again full of hot air balloons Saturday as the 42nd Yampa Valley Balloon Rodeo took flight this weekend. “I gotta say, everything was perfect,” organizer Karen Beauvais said.
The Yampa Valley Balloon Rodeo will return to Steamboat for its 42nd year this weekend, welcoming balloons and pilots from around the country. Running July 28-30, balloons are scheduled to take off from Bald Eagle.
