海外の温泉へ思いを馳（は）せるシリーズ。ひとり温泉の海外デビューにおすすめしやすい台湾の温泉旅、今回は台湾最南端の屛東（ピントン）県にある四重渓温泉です。台湾四大温泉のひとつで、日本統治時代（1895～1945年）に発見され発展しました。「清泉日式温泉旅館」はその中心的な宿で、当時は「山口旅館」と呼ばれていたそうです。100年余の時を経た今も、古きよきノスタルジックな日本の情緒や人情を感じさせる温泉旅館です。
