Las Vegas police investigate arson, homicide near Durango, Alta Peter Valencia UP NEXT
Police in Las Vegas were investigating a homicide in the west valley, near Durango Drive and Alta Friday afternoon.
At approximately 1:00 p.m. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to the area of Dunphy Court upon reports of a cardiac arrest, Lt. Ray Spencer told News 3.
Fire crews arrived to find a white male, believed to be in his 40s, deceased inside a home suffering multiple injuries, though the extent and details were not revealed.
A preliminary investigation indicated that an individual tried to cover up a crime scene with a fire which prompted Las Vegas Metropolitain Police to launch a homicide investigation.
