Attorney general eric holder has announced that the new Justice Department initiative aimed at Building Trust between local Law Enforcement and the civilians they serve by providing training. I am delighted to convene this meeting of the sentencing Disparities Working Group attorney generals advisory committee. This is the group im charged with examining sentencing disparities and developing recommendations on how we can address them.
