Walk-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Held Across Connecticut Sunday © Provided by NBC Connecticut Bottles for the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine are ready to be prepared before the opening of a mass vaccination site in the Queens borough of New York, February 24, 2021. The state has a few different vaccine clinics which will be open to residents with no appointments. The clinics will be held in Hamden, New Haven and Uncasville and are open to Connecticut residents or anyone who works or studies in the state. Hamden Hamden Mayor Curt Leng said there will be a walk-up vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The clinic will take place at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church on Newhall Street. The church is partnering with Griffin Health, the state Department of Health and the town of Hamden. Those who attend will receive the first dose of the Moderna vaccine.
