A professor at the Department of Religions, University of Ilorin, Professor Yahya Oyewole Imam, has said that insecurity may persist if the present administration fails to address imbalance in the country.
Imam made this disclosure while speaking at the 28th Ramadan lecture organized by the University of Ibadan Muslim Community (UIMC) on Saturday.
The don who spoke on the topic, “Islamic response to the problem of insecurity in Nigeria”, insisted that Nigeria may continue to witness insecurity if the present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari fails to address imbalance in the areas of employment, infrastructural development, injustice and inequality among various groups in the country.
