NEW YORK Saudi Arabia is championing the Palestinian cause at the United Nations amid the ongoing amid continued Israeli attacks in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Leading from the front, Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative at the UN Abdallah Yahya Al-Mouallimi met on Friday with the permanent Chinese delegation to the UN, the president of the General Assembly Volkan Bozkir, to highlight the plight of the Palestinians following an Arab mini-group meeting.
The Arab mini-group meetings aim to shed light on the security council about the Palestinian issue and the Israeli attacks so that the international community can carry out its duties to protect civilians from such attacks.
